HONOLULU, Hawaii, June 28/PRNewswire/ -- HONCAD Corporation today announced that it has been given logo credit in Square Pictures, Inc. groundbreaking CG motion picture Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

HONCAD has been providing services for Square since 1997, when Hironobu Sakaguchi, Director of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, first opened the studio in Honolulu. HONCAD has provided equipment fulfillment, on-site installation, configuration, end-user training, systems administration, technical support and field maintenance for the entire studio.

Some of the technologies include real-time digital film playback systems, animation workstations, high-speed network attached storage, automated tape libraries, compositing systems, custom-built rendering servers and a state of the art motion capture system.
