Director of Managed Services

Responsibilities: As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, you will enhance the sales of CORESystems Hawaii products, professional services and managed services based on advanced server and storage systems. This is accomplished by educating potential and existing customers on the benefits of CORESystems Hawaii solutions via technical presentations, assisting customers in installation and technical evaluation of equipment, planning and deploying customer applications as a managed service and general responsibility for the management of the technical aspects of existing and potential customer accounts. Duties include system design and proposals of complex server and storage solutions including parts lists and visio diagrams, assisting sales persons in the sales process from initial customer meetings through closing, giving technical presentations and having discussions with customers about the benefits of CORESystems server and storage products, professional services and managed services, developing presentations for new technologies and solutions and the technical support of managed services systems and applications including but not limited to migration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. 

Education/Experience:   Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in computer science or engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 7 years information technology system engineering experience. Experience in data center consolidation and disaster recovery processes desired.

Unique/Conditions:   Must be willing to travel, including outer-island and the mainland.

Compensation Range:   Salary range - $50,000 - $70,000.
